A fantastic opportunity for a PhD educated professional to join a leading, independent biomedical publishing as their Scientific Editor. If you enjoy reading scientific papers and have a natural eye for detail, then this is the role for you!
As the Scientific Editor you will be editing and proofreading scientific and manuscripts from high quality submissions from authors worldwide. The company publishes nine journals with a focus on biomedical sciences, oncology and molecular medicine.
Utilising your strong scientific knowledge, you will evaluate submissions, manage the peer review process, and work closely with authors to overcome any issues. Furthermore, you will check and clarify data accepted for publication and collaborate with the scientific community and internal production team to maintain the high standards of the journal.
To be considered for this excellent Scientific Editor opportunity you should hold a PhD within life sciences. Previous experience within publishing is not essential, therefore this is a fantastic opportunity to launch your editorial career.
