Senior Health Economist – Cheshire

Paramount Recruitment is currently working with a leading healthcare consultancy whose purpose is to improve patients’ lives by informing healthcare decisions. They are looking for an ambitious and experienced Senior Health Economist to join there fast-paced and expanding team based in their HQ office in Cheshire.

Purpose of the role:

Provide technical health economics expertise by identifying solutions and defining projects to inform and optimise pricing, reimbursement and market access; act as Senior Technical Lead for assigned health economics and other projects; mentor junior health economists and provide appropriate training internally; perform technical review of economic models, reports and protocols; (where appropriate) develop health economic models; and contribute to the further development of health economics solutions, client service and commercial success through, for example, acting as the technical lead on proposals and client pitches.

Requirements

*extensive experience of building cost-effectiveness economic models and budget
impact models
*experience of developing and interpreting economic models (both cost-effectiveness
models and budget impact models)
*understanding systematic reviews and meta-analyses
*Experience in network meta-analysis would be desirable
*ability to demonstrate relevant research and technical skills
*excellent analytical and writing skills, a creative mind set and a team work ethos
is essential.
