I am currently working with a global Medical Communications Agency who are looking to recruit for a Senior/Account Manager on a permanent basis. They have offices based in Philadelphia and Yardley, PA – Fully remote also could be an option for these opportunities.
This agency has over 500 employees across the UK, Europe and the US with remote workers all over the US with a broad mixture of deliverables such as promo med ed, pubs, meetings, med affairs, digital, market access, HEOR and commercial materials so lots of variety. As they’ve been established for a while they have a broad mixture of clients from bio tech to big pharma, long standing and new clients and in 36 therapy areas so they can tailor the role to yourself.
The Senior Account Manager has the overall accountability and is the primary point of contact for their respective client(s). They are responsible for the successful management of an account or accounts on a day-to-day basis with a focus on the execution and quality completion of client projects. The Senior/Account Manager will start to develop their strategic account planning skill set while starting to identify new and organic business opportunities and partner with Company BD colleagues to pursue such opportunities.
*Provide exceptional client service, consistent with Company account service standards, including:
oProactively manage the account and be responsive to the client’s expectations and needs in project execution on a timely basis
oIndependently provide clear and concise communication and information to client, both verbally and via email
oWork with the team to prepare for and lead internal and client status meetings or manage staff member to do so
oEnsure that client meeting materials (i.e. agenda, slides, meeting minutes, etc.) are accurately prepared
oAttend, contribute to, and potential run onsite client meetings as appropriate
oUnderstand and ensure the team follows all client required standard operating procedures and requirements
*Maintain accurate records within client chosen publication technology program (i.e. Datavision or PubSTRAT)
oProvide timely and accurate project status updates and client requested reports (i.e. bibliography, TASC, icon charts, etc)
oWork efficiently with the publication technology coordinator of manager in a proactive and organized manner consistent with optimizing use of the publication technology resource
*Understand and apply principles of good publication practice or compliance standards consistent with industry and company policy at all times
*Identify and notify supervisor or strategic team leaders of situations that require more senior input
*Seek to identify new areas to expand organic growth
*Assist with client proposals or client presentations as directed
