An experienced Principal Medical Writer is required for a dynamic and innovative healthcare communications agency which has offices in the North- East of England. The position will be remote and the company are happy to hold virtual interviews. This is a full-time position; unfortunately part-time hours cannot be considered.
As Principal Medical Writer you will have the opportunity to work across publications or/ and medical education projects. You will be responsible for writing and managing the delivery of scientific content whilst ensuring it meets the client’s needs, internal quality standards and timelines. You will be the lead writer for one or more major accounts and will oversee editorial delivery for yourself and other editorial team members. Furthermore, you will have line management responsibilities and will be the primary client contact on specific programmes/ projects.

The successful candidate will be educated to degree level (or above) within a life science/ medical discipline and will be working as a Principal Medical Writer within a medical/ healthcare communications agency.
