A superb opportunity has arisen for a Medical Writer to join a leading healthcare communications agency based in London. This agency has a strong global reach but are fiercely independent in mindset. You can expect to work across very large accounts, with plenty of variety in therapeutic areas and content. As a Medical Writer you will be responsible for producing very high quality medical copy in line with the client’s objectives, timelines and budget. The communications content will be really varied but will include publications, meetings, promotional slides, digital and patient-centred work. Most of the company’s accounts are global and they are embedded into a partnership with clients- allowing writers to develop skills in client strategy and interaction.
-Educated to degree level in a scientific subject
– A minimum of 1-2 years writing experience in a medical communications agency- working across a variety of therapy areas and communication materials
– Experience in constructive and timely review of materials
– Good working knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry
– Good PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Reference Manager/Endnote skills
