Marketing Co-ordinator

Paramount Recruitment is a specialist boutique recruitment business based in central Birmingham. We have a team of consultants providing expert professional recruitment services to companies in the Pharmaceutical, Healthcare Communications, and Genomics sectors throughout the world.

We are looking for a bright and proactive marketing co-ordinator to join our team be the focus for all things marketing – including digital, content, brochureware and research. You will help our consultants to identify potential new clients and produce marketing collateral that promotes their services in a professional, engaging and effective manner.

You will have the support of 2 Directors and a part-time experienced Marketing consultant.

The work will be varied and interesting, and you will have the autonomy to research, identify and recommend new marketing activities to help grow our business.

You will have the opportunity to set your own work objectives and activity, but we expect you to look after the following activities:
*Track content from other websites & social feeds and re-post to Paramount website / feeds
*Manage Paramount website and social media channels, increasing followers and engagement
*Write original articles for the Paramount website through interviewing staff, candidates and clients
*Create infographics, memes and digital engagement assets such as explainer videos
*Optimise content and webpages for SEO, track and report on search rankings and traffic
*Create, edit and update printed and digital capability documents to help Paramount consultants increase relationships with clients and candidates
*Research specific market sectors to identify potential new clients for the business
*Update and manage the client prospect database
*Create and manage advertising campaigns (mostly sponsored content on LinkedIn and Google Adwords) and job-board adverting to attract new clients and candidates
*Manage Paramount activities at industry events and award ceremonies

Experience required
*Understanding of marketing strategy
*Microsoft packages (Word, PowerPoint specifically)
*WordPress website editing
*Web research experience
*Content writing ability
*Proficiency in a design software is useful
*Knowledge of SEO useful
