Healthcare Event Manager / Pharmaceutical Events

This position will involve –
* Supporting the Events Director by providing accurate costs and information for
proposals, both UK and international
* Some proposal writing and estimating
* Venue sourcing
* Managing and overseeing events from start to finish, including liaising with clients and
* Delegate management
* Taking ownership of projects and accountability for all aspects (financial, client liaison,
* Attending and leading events
* Briefing and managing suppliers
* Overseeing and maintaining the admin systems within the department
* Ensuring internal records are kept up to date
* Client liaison
* Some new business development and involvement in new client pitches
* Time management and time sheet completion
The Events Manager would be responsible for managing every aspect of the process, each
of which is essential to the role.
We are looking for a confident person who can take the initiative and deal face to face with
clients and suppliers alike. We would like someone with events industry experience in the
pharmaceutical sector. The candidate must expect Global travel throughout the year,
sometimes at short notice.
