An Assistant Editor is required for a leading medical publishing company based in Hertfordshire which publishes educational and evidence based content aimed at nurses.
You will be responsible for overseeing the development, production and accuracy of all materials including subediting copy, proofreading content, writing news articles and liaising with editorial board members. You will source and suggest topes for feature articles, upload content to CMS/ LMS, support website developments and attend the monthly brand meeting.
To be considered for this fantastic Assistant Editor role you should hold a life science degree (or above) with excellent proofreading and sub-editing skills. The ideal candidate would have worked previously for a medical / scientific publishing company or medical communications agency.
