Account Director – Full Service political / communications consultancy
We are currently working on a search for an Account Director to join a highly successful independent consultancy.
The company has been established for 11 years and has a team of 30 people. They work in a range of sectors with diverse UK clients and health is a large area for them. They have a really nice working environment with lots of great perks such as an individual training budget for all staff which enables people to get a bespoke plan for development. There is also a generous holiday allowance of 28 days and people get 2 hours per week to use for a lie in, leave early or life admin and there are many more interesting perks on top.
Within the company there are 2 other account directors and each is responsible for a small team. The role of an account director is to provide political, industry and strategic expertise and to lead on a number of accounts ensuring consistently high-quality work for clients and to drive new business growth and client retention.
To be considered it is essential to have experience in an agency. You should have worked on diverse public affairs projects and some PR, particularly media relations experience would be beneficial.
