Business Development Lead- Healthcare

I am working with an event management company who is looking for a Healthcare Sales Lead to join their team. The company mainly deals with pharmaceutical companies and they so this sales lead will be responsible for all new healthcare business sales activities. They deliver virtual and live events, strategy, content and production.

The office is based in Surrey, right outside the M25 corridor and they offer flexible working options but you must be able to travel to the site 2 days per week. This role will also involve travel to client sites across the UK, EU and US!

Some of your key responsibilities include:

*Identify and generate leads of new prospects in healthcare, pharma, life science with a focus on global and UK clients

*Work with lead generation to maximise their return on investment in lead generation activities and opportunities that arise from it

*Take accountability for all new healthcare pitches working across the business and teams to ensure they deliver the best possible pitch/proposal submission within timeframes specified

*When new accounts are successfully contracted, take ownership of that client account and accountable to hand over to the Account Lead

*Deliver against annual financial and strategic business development targets

The company is looking for someone with the following:

*Pharmaceutical sales background

*Drive strategy

*Able to travel globally, post COVID

*Someone who has a drive to grow the business and help them expand

*Must have C suite experience

*Senior level experience being able to liaise with clients
