Bioanalysis and Biosample Operations Associate

An outstanding opportunity has become available for a Bioanalysis and Biosample Operations Associate with a Top Pharmaceutical company based in Hertfordshire on a 24-month contract.
The company is looking for a professional to work with multidisciplinary teams of operational experts and technical scientists dedicated to supporting the clinical development and execution of strategies to translate patient biosamples into medicines across the clinical study portfolio.
As a Bioanalysis and Biosample Operations Associate, you will:
- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders and participate in stakeholder and vendor meetings
- Support central laboratory meetings and collaborations
- Oversee the maintenance and application of different internal tools and platforms
- Support and assist in day-to-day biosample operational and bioanalytical activities
- Contribute to activities across the entire patient biosample lifecycle from strategy to patient sample collection, sample analysis, data reporting and sample storage
- Support the development, maintenance, and oversight of appropriate biosample management documentation, provision of critical reagents and monitoring reagent consumption
- Collaborate with the Bioanalytical Manager and Biosample Project Leader on innovative and functional initiative
- Manage biosamples collected from patients in clinical trial studies
An ideal Bioanalysis and Biosample Operations Associate will:
- Have a Biosciences degree
- Have prior experience with clinical development
- Have clinical or biological laboratory experience with evidence of involvement in processing and/or analysis of biological samples
- Possess strong planning and organisational skills
- Have the ability to manage multiple priorities at one time
- Be able to work dynamically within a team
